If you attended the annual Jamf Nation user conference, you probably saw some major themes. How to secure an Apple experience was, of course, an overarching topic. But there also was a focus on doing more<\/em> with less<\/em>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With today\u2019s challenging business landscape, John Strosahl CEO at Jamf, shared, \u201cWe\u2019re challenged to do more with less\u2026.\u201d Here are some of the additional takeaways from JNUC 2023: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Companies need more thoughtful workflows<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

During the kickoff keynote session at JNUC, everyone got an exclusive look at the future of infotech \u2014 and *spoiler alert* Jamf Pro 11 will be available in October! Sam Johnson, Chief Customer Officer at Jamf, also dove into how IT AND InfoSec teams can achieve better organizational outcomes through thoughtful workflows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cJamf is here to help you simplify work,\u201d he shared. And this stood out as a key theme throughout the conference. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

You should be automating employee experiences <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

One key strategy to simplify workflows is to use automation. In a Wednesday session with Workato, automation was the focus. \u201cIngregrate Anything. Automate Everything.\u201d Shyam Bhojwani, Director of Business Technology and Cyber Security Ops at Workato, gave several use cases highlighting automation’s benefits for IT professionals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jesse Levin, CEO at BetterCloud, also focused his session on automations, sharing tips on how IT readers can automate manual processes, eliminate tedious tasks, and save hundreds of hours. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can reduce overwhelm & burnout with technology <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

In a recent survey by Deloitte<\/a>, they found that 77% of respondents <\/strong>experienced burnout at their current job, with 40%<\/strong> citing the main cause as an overwhelming workload.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is an ongoing problem, especially with the recent layoffs causing the remaining employees to pick up the slack and increase their workloads. During the \u201cFrom Burnout to Balance\u201d session with Lysette Bull, Sr. Community Engagement & Advocacy Specialist at JAMF, this problem was explored. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The solution? The right technology. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lysette shared, \u201cBy providing these things [access to the right tools], you\u2019re helping balance their day-to-day well-being in their workplace.\u201d It\u2019s all about finding the right tools for the right moment and making those accessible. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
