If you have yet to add the extension to your current browser, please go to <a href=\"http:\/\/golinks.io\">golinks.io<\/a> to download the extension. The following article will detail extension pinning for Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Edge, Brave, and Safari.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-google-chrome\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Google_Chrome\"><\/span><strong>Google Chrome<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>To start, there should be a small puzzle piece in the upper right corner of your browser, it should look something like this:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-2505\" style=\"width: 300px;\" src=\"https:\/\/images.golinks.io\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/17082535\/Screenshot-2024-04-17-at-11.24.47%E2%80%AFAM.png\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once the puzzle piece has been selected, a drop-down menu should appear. In this menu, you will select the small push pin next to your GoLinks Extension. As soon as the extension has finished downloading, it will automatically appear on the taskbar. It will look like this once the download is complete:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"512\" height=\"65\" class=\"wp-image-2511\" style=\"width: 300px;\" src=\"https:\/\/images.golinks.io\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/17084405\/pin-extension-3.png\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/images.golinks.io\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/17084405\/pin-extension-3.png 512w, https:\/\/images.golinks.io\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/17084405\/pin-extension-3-300x38.png 300w, https:\/\/images.golinks.io\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/17084405\/pin-extension-3-40x5.png 40w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 512px) 100vw, 512px\" \/><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Opera\"><\/span><strong>Opera<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>With Opera, when you download the extension, there will be a popup that looks like this:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"512\" height=\"295\" src=\"https:\/\/images.golinks.io\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/17084455\/pin-extension-4.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2512\" srcset=\"https:\/\/images.golinks.io\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/17084455\/pin-extension-4.png 512w, https:\/\/images.golinks.io\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/17084455\/pin-extension-4-300x173.png 300w, https:\/\/images.golinks.io\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/17084455\/pin-extension-4-40x23.png 40w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 512px) 100vw, 512px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>With this, it appears as if the GoLinks Extension is already pinned, but IT IS NOT. When you leave this popup, the extension will not be on the taskbar. Next to where this GoLink Extension appears, there&#8217;s a 3-D cube. Click on this cube in order to view extensions. Once the extensions tab has been opened, you should click on the pin next to the GoLinks Extension in order to pin it to the taskbar:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"492\" height=\"74\" src=\"https:\/\/images.golinks.io\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/17084538\/pin-extension-5.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2513\" srcset=\"https:\/\/images.golinks.io\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/17084538\/pin-extension-5.png 492w, https:\/\/images.golinks.io\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/17084538\/pin-extension-5-300x45.png 300w, https:\/\/images.golinks.io\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/17084538\/pin-extension-5-40x6.png 40w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 492px) 100vw, 492px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Microsoft_Edge\"><\/span><strong>Microsoft Edge<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>With Microsoft Edge, the extension is automatically added to the toolbar; similar to Firefox&#8217;s taskbar. It should appear like this:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"381\" height=\"104\" class=\"wp-image-2514\" style=\"width: 300px;\" src=\"https:\/\/images.golinks.io\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/17084732\/pin-extension-6.png\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/images.golinks.io\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/17084732\/pin-extension-6.png 381w, https:\/\/images.golinks.io\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/17084732\/pin-extension-6-300x82.png 300w, https:\/\/images.golinks.io\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/17084732\/pin-extension-6-40x11.png 40w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 381px) 100vw, 381px\" \/><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you were to accidentally hide the extension from the taskbar, you can simply click the puzzle piece to open up your current extensions. In this, there will be a drop-down menu for the GoLinks Extension. To view extensions that have been downloaded, you would select the puzzle piece. To pin the GoLinks Extension to the taskbar, users can click on the small pin located next to GoLinks:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"760\" height=\"547\" class=\"wp-image-2516\" style=\"width: 300px;\" src=\"https:\/\/images.golinks.io\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/17085032\/pin-extension-8.png\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/images.golinks.io\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/17085032\/pin-extension-8.png 760w, https:\/\/images.golinks.io\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/17085032\/pin-extension-8-300x216.png 300w, https:\/\/images.golinks.io\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/17085032\/pin-extension-8-40x29.png 40w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 760px) 100vw, 760px\" \/><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Safari\"><\/span><strong>Safari<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you have downloaded the extension for Safari, you will get a little popup with your currently downloaded extensions. Here, you should check the box to the left of the GoLinks Extension. If you happen to close this popup before pinning the extension, here&#8217;s the process of adding it. You will start by selecting the \u201cSafari\u201d drop down in the upper left corner. Keep in mind, the browser has to be the most recently selected item before this will appear. There will be an option for \u201cPreferences\u201d that should be selected. This will take you back to the same page that was previously opened when the extension was originally downloaded. This allows you to edit their permissions. Clicking \u201cSafari Extensions\u2026\u201d will open the app store allowing you to search for new extensions not already downloaded.
