id=\"Push_user_deactivation\"><\/span><strong>Push user deactivation<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Deactivating the user through Okta will deactivate the user in GoLinks<strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Note<\/strong>: Deactivating a user will not delete their GoLinks account. Their status will be set to inactive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:36px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-import-new-users\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Import_new_users\"><\/span><strong>Import new users<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>New users created in GoLinks can be downloaded and turned into new AppUser objects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:36px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-reactivate-users\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Reactivate_Users\"><\/span><strong>Reactivate Users<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Reactivating the user through Okta will reactivate the user in GoLinks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Note<\/strong>: Reactivating a user will set their status to active in GoLinks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:48px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-requirements\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Requirements\"><\/span>Requirements&nbsp;<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Before you configure provisioning with Okta, make sure you have configured SAML 2.0 for GoLinks. Be sure you have completed the steps in this guide, <a href=\"https:\/\/saml-doc.okta.com\/SAML_Docs\/How-to-Configure-SAML-2.0-for-GoLinks.html\">Setting up SSO<\/a>, before continuing. After setting this up, you will need to <strong>contact<\/strong> the GoLinks Support team (<a href=\"mailto:support@golinks.io\">support@golinks.io<\/a>) or your Customer Success Manager to request a SCIM API token.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:48px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-configuration-steps\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Configuration_steps\"><\/span>Configuration steps&nbsp;<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Configure the Provisioning settings for GoLinks:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:48px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-api-integration\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"API_integration\"><\/span>API integration<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>On the GoLinks application, go to the <strong>Provisioning<\/strong> tab and under <strong>Settings<\/strong>, click on <strong>Integration<\/strong>. Click the <strong>Configure API Integration <\/strong>button.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:36px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li>Check the <strong>Enable API Integration<\/strong> box. For the <strong>API Token<\/strong>, enter the SCIM API token you received from GoLinks Support.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Note: <\/strong>There might be a checkbox at the bottom of the integration page for importing groups (denoted by the red rectangle in the screenshot below). Okta added this as default. If the box is checked, uncheck the box as we do not support the importing of groups, only the importing of users<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li>Before saving, click on <strong>Test API Credentials <\/strong>to verify the settings. Once a successful connection is made, click on the <strong>Save <\/strong>button to save the settings.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Note: <\/strong>If your API Credentials test fails, check that the <strong>SCIM API Token<\/strong> is correct. If errors persist, contact the GoLinks Support team (<a href=\"mailto:support@golinks.io\">support@golinks.io<\/a>).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:48px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-to-app\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"To_app\"><\/span>To app<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>After the integration is completed, click <strong>To App <\/strong>in the top left and check the boxes for the provisioning features (Create, Update, Deactivate) you would like to enable.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Note: <\/strong>Make sure that the <strong>default username <\/strong>used to create accounts in Okta is set to \u201c<strong>Email<\/strong>\u201d. You can update this value in the <strong>Sign On<\/strong> tab under the <strong>Credentials Details<\/strong> section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once all settings are saved, you can start provisioning users to GoLinks!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:48px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-provisioning-steps\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Provisioning_steps\"><\/span>Provisioning steps<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>To provision new users or groups to GoLinks, follow these steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>In the GoLinks application in Okta, click on the <strong>Assignments <\/strong>tab.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the <strong>Assign <\/strong>button and choose the <strong>Assign to People <\/strong>option to provision a single user or <strong>Assign to Groups<\/strong> to automatically assign GoLinks to all the users in a group.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:48px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-assign-to-people\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Assign_to_people\"><\/span>Assign to people<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Choose the user you would like to provision and click the <strong>Assign<\/strong> button.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:36px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li>You should see the attribute fields for the user.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:36px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li>Click on <strong>Save and Go Back<\/strong> to see the new assigned user.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:36px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li>You can also confirm the user was assigned to GoLinks by checking the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.golinks.io\/invites.php\">Team Directory <\/a>and searching for the new user.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:48px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-assign-to-groups\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Assign_to_groups\"><\/span>Assign to groups<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Choose the groups you want to provision and click on <strong>Assign <\/strong>next to the group name.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:36px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li>Click <strong>Done<\/strong>. You should now see the groups that were assigned to GoLinks.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Note: <\/strong>It might take a couple of minutes for all the users in a group to be provisioned to GoLinks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To edit a user that is already assigned to the app, go to the <strong>Assignments <\/strong>tab, look for the user you want to edit and click on the pencil icon. To remove a user from the app, click on the cancel icon. You can always reassign the user to GoLinks by following the above provisioning steps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Note: <\/strong>If you assigned a user via <strong>Assign to Groups<\/strong>, the <strong>Assignment master<\/strong> is set to <strong>Group<\/strong>, which means you can\u2019t unassign a user in that group. That is why the cancel icon is disabled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To remove a user that is in a group, click the edit icon for that user and set the <strong>Assignment master<\/strong> to <strong>Administrator<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This will change the <strong>Type<\/strong> from <strong>Group<\/strong> to <strong>Individual<\/strong>. Now you can unassign the user.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:48px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-import-users\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Import_Users\"><\/span>Import Users<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>You can import users from GoLinks to your directory to avoid overwriting existing permissions and to keep your directory in sync.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>In the GoLinks application in Okta, click on the <strong>Import <\/strong>tab.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:36px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li>Click on <strong>Import Now<\/strong> to import the users from GoLinks.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:36px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li>Check the boxes for the users you want to import and click on <strong>Confirm Assignments<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Note: <\/strong>If the user does not exist in Okta, you will see a <strong>NEW <\/strong>label associated with the user. If the user exists in Okta but is not assigned to the GoLinks application, you will see an <strong>EXACT<\/strong> label.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:36px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li>Click <strong>Confirm<\/strong> in the dialog box.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:36px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"5\">\n<li>Go to the <strong>Assignments<\/strong> tab to verify the newly imported users.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Note: <\/strong>If you deactivate a user on GoLinks, they will still be assigned to the application in Okta. To synchronize with Okta, you can import from GoLinks (Click on <strong>Import Now<\/strong> in the <strong>Import<\/strong> tab). The deactivated users will automatically be unassigned from the GoLinks application in Okta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:48px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-user-attributes\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"User_Attributes\"><\/span>User Attributes&nbsp;<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The following attributes are supported by GoLinks:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Username: <\/strong>Username is set to the user&#8217;s primary email address. We recommend leaving this value as an email<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Email: <\/strong>User\u2019s primary work email address<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Given Name: <\/strong>User\u2019s first name<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Family Name: <\/strong>User\u2019s last name<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:48px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-troubleshooting-and-tips\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Troubleshooting_and_Tips\"><\/span>Troubleshooting and Tips<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>We suggest keeping Okta as the source of truth.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If user profile updates are not being pushed to the application after you enabled provisioning, look at this <a href=\"https:\/\/support.okta.com\/help\/s\/article\/User-profile-updates-aren-t-being-pushed-to-the-application-after-we-enabled-provisioning\">documentation<\/a> for a resolution.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You may encounter an error like this, \u201cUser 00us18edt4XKv6gXI0o3 provision to GoLinks failed due to API throttling. Rescheduling provision job\u201d, after assigning GoLinks to a group. This error occurs because GoLinks rate limit for user provisioning has been exceeded. The users that were not provisioned will be queued to be synced to GoLinks.
