This article will walk you through the GoLinks Ping Identity SSO set up process. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Create a new app<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To configure the integration of GoLinks into Ping Identity, you need to create a new application that will be added to your list of managed SaaS apps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  1. Sign in to your Ping<\/a> portal using your work email address.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. On the left sidebar, select \u201cConnections\u201d.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. On the \u201cApplications\u201d page, click on the plus sign to create a new application.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. For the application type, select \u201cWeb App\u201d <\/strong>and \u201cSAML\u201d for the connection type.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Configure Ping Identity SSO<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Create App Profile<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \n
    1. Enter \u201cGoLinks\u201d for the application name and write an optional description. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. For the icon, you can upload the icon that GoLinks Support sends you. This is optional, but it will make it easier for your users to identify the application. Once finished, click \u201cNext\u201d to continue to the second step.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Note: <\/strong>Leave the \u201cSign-on URL\u201d empty so if a user tries to log in to GoLinks and is not logged in to Ping Identity, the sign-on URL will default to Ping Identity’s login page. Once the user logs in, they\u2019ll be able to log into GoLinks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Configure SAML<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

        \n
      1. For \u201cProvide App Metadata\u201d, click on \u201cManually Enter\u201d.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. For the \u201cACS URLS\u201d, enter the following: https:\/\/www.golinks.io\/simplesaml\/module.php\/saml\/sp\/saml2-acs.php\/default-sp.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      3. Choose your own \u201cSigning Key\u201d or use the default \u201cPingOneSSO Certificate\u201d. Select \u201cSign Assertion\u201d.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      4. Enter any \u201cSigning Algorithm\u201d you want such as \u201cRSA_SHA256\u201d.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      5. You can leave \u201cEncryption\u201d disabled.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      6. For the \u201cEntity ID\u201d, enter the following: \u201cokta_sso_golinks\u201d.\n
          \n
        1. Note: <\/strong>Do not change the value of the \u201cEntity ID\u201d.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        2. You can leave the fields for \u201cSLO\u201d empty and leave the default value for \u201cSLO Binding\u201d.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        3. For the \u201cSubject NameID Format\u201d, select \u201curn:oasis:names:tc:SAML:1.1:nameid-format:emailAddress\u201d.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        4. Enter any value for the \u201cAssertion Validity Duration\u201d that\u2019s 60 or above.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        5. For the \u201cTarget Application URL\u201d, enter the following: https:\/\/www.golinks.io\/saml.php<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        6. After this, you can leave the rest of the options as is. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
        7. Finally, select \u201cSave and Continue\u201d to continue to the last step.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

          Map Attributes<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

            \n
          1. You will need to add four SAML attributes:\n
              \n
            1. \u201csaml_subject\u201d: \u201cEmail Address\u201d (Required)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            2. \u201cemail\u201d: \u201cEmail Address\u201d (Required)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            3. \u201cfirstName\u201d: \u201cGiven Name\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            4. \u201clastName\u201d: \u201cFamily Name\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            5. Once you add these attributes, click on \u201cSave and Close\u201d to create the new application.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

              Configure GoLinks SSO<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

              To configure single sign-on on the GoLinks side, you need to send the downloaded Metadata XML to your GoLinks Customer Success Manager. They will work on setting up the SAML SSO connection to properly work on both sides.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

              Testing<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
