Microsoft Word Integration Guide for GoLinks Users

Integrating Microsoft Word with GoLinks allows you and your team to easily access your documents without long text or messy urls. With the click of a button, you can change “go/” keywords into your hyperlinks that allow everyone in your workspace to easily access and share the power of GoLinks no matter what tool you’re in.

How to Setup the Microsoft Word GoLinks Integration 

Note: If you are having trouble getting the Add-ins to work using the Word Windows desktop app, please ensure it is on the latest version and your computer has WebView2 installed.

1. From your GoLinks dashboard, navigate to Integrations in the left-hand menu.
2. From there, find and click on the Microsoft Word Integration.
3. Click the “Add” button on the top right and “Get it now!” on Microsoft App Source.
4. Sign into your Microsoft account if prompted to.
5. Click “Get it now”.
6. Click “Open in Word” or “Open in Word Online”.
7. Launch the integration by going to the Home tab and navigate to Add-ins.
8. Search “GoLinks” and click “Add”.
9. Now your Microsoft Word GoLinks Integration is installed!

How to Use the Microsoft Word GoLinks Integration 

1. Once you are in a document, go to the Home tab and navigate to Add-ins.
2. Under “GoLinks Add-in”, click “Convert go links”.
3. Now every “go/” keyword present in your doc will be converted to a clickable golink.
4. Now your Microsoft Word GoLinks Integration is working!
